Since its inception in 2002, SenSource has relied on its website to share information, capture leads, and ultimately drive business. It has been a successful model for the tech company as it has grown each year to peak with another banner year in 2021. As the company entered its 20e year of existence, it was decided to revamp the website to reflect the latest offerings and technologies available to its customers.
“We are fortunate to have a solid clientele that uses our system daily. But like any business, we’re looking to the future, attracting new customers and growing, and it all starts with our front-end website,” commented Joe Varacalli, President of SenSource.
Led by Andy Clutter, Director of Marketing, and Jessica Lipply, Marketing Coordinator, the company embarked on a national search for a web design firm that shared the same values and passion for providing exceptional service. After numerous interviews, pitches, and mock designs, the company finally struck a deal with Austin, TX-based GLIDE Design. “We were down to a few finalists and held a meeting with the GLIDE team. By the end of that meeting, we all looked at each other and knew the decision had just been made,” Clutter noted.
Work began immediately to revamp SenSource’s branding and web design. Key goals included streamlining product offerings and showcasing SenSource’s team and corporate culture. “Our employees are what makes SenSource so I thought it was really important that we communicate that properly,” Varacalli said.
Vea, SenSource’s people counting software, is featured throughout the website. The data collected by SenSource can be analyzed differently depending on the industry served, so it was crucial to communicate the discrepancies clearly and concisely. “We want to give every visitor an experience that feels familiar to them,” Lipply said. She continued, “We are fortunate to serve many different industries with our people counting solutions, so we must cater to each of them uniquely.”
The site went live in early September, shortly after the company commemorated its 20e Anniversary with an open day. Varacalli discussed this at the event. “We never expected to be in this position 20 years after starting with two people in a small office. But we never gave up and we are lucky to have this success. We hope this website will help us carry on for another 20 years.
