Joget receives funding via Catalyst Fund 7 for its no-code application integration with the Cardano blockchain

COLUMBIA, MD., April 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Joget Inc, the open source no-code/low-code application platform company for faster and easier digital transformation, today announced that it has secured funding through the Cardano’s Catalyst Fund 7 for its most voted proposal in the “Creating Nation of DApps” category, titled “Accelerating Enterprise Adoption”. This was a joint proposal with Wada, an African organization of blockchain awareness.

Joget – Open Source Low Code platform for building enterprise applications and automating workflows.

Cardano, home to the ADA cryptocurrency, is a public blockchain and decentralized application (DApp) platform. As part of the Catalyst Fund challenge, a complete coffee traceability application was created in a record time of 4 days by a single developer. The app was then repurposed to meet the needs of the cocoa industry, and was then introduced to some of the biggest players in the cocoa industry in Ghanasecond largest cocoa producer in the world.

“We welcome all builders and innovators creating useful applications on the Cardano blockchain and are impressed with the growth of the ecosystem facilitated by Project Catalyst’s community decision-making and decentralized governance,” said Kriss BairdProduct Owner of Input Output Global (IOG).

Citizen developers, typically business users with little coding experience, can now visually develop applications integrated with the Cardano blockchain using the recently released Cardano Blockchain Pack. Joget plans to use the fund to further improve the development of the plugin and expand its capabilities with more advanced features. By integrating blockchain technology with a no-code/low-code application platform such as Joget, organizations can quickly kick-start their digitization journey while reducing associated costs and risks. This bridges the gap between traditional app development methodology and a modernized no-code/low-code approach.

“We view blockchain as a critical component underpinning next-gen technology innovations, and we want to bring it to the masses with our no-code/low-code approach,” said Raveesh DewanCEO of Joget, Inc. “We thank the Cardano community and the Catalyst Fund team for believing and supporting our approach.”

The Cardano Blockchain Bundle is published on JogetOSS, an open source repository for the Joget Platform, and a step-by-step tutorial is available on the Joget Knowledge Base.
