Want to use another account in the Amazon app or Amazon website on your device? If so, the company makes it easy to sign out of your current account. You should also do this if you’re using a shared device, and we’ll show you how.
Later, if you want to reconnect to your account, you can do so by entering your login information.

If you are using an iPad, launch the Amazon app and tap “Hello”. Then press “Log out” to log out of your account.
If you’re using an iPhone or Android phone, launch the Amazon app on your phone. At the bottom, tap the three horizontal lines to open the app menu.
Scroll down the menu screen and at the bottom, tap “Settings.”
In the extended menu “Settings”, select “No [Your Name]? Sign out.”
Amazon will display a prompt asking if you really want to sign out. Tap “Sign Out” in this prompt to continue.
You are now signed out of your account in the Amazon app on your device. You can now use any other account with the app, if you want.

To get started, open a web browser on your device and launch the Amazon site. In the upper right corner of the site, hover your cursor over the “Account and Lists” menu.
In the menu that opens, click on “Logout”.
And that’s all. You are now out of your account on the Amazon site.
If you are on a public device and use Gmail, also consider signing out of your Gmail account. This helps protect your account against unauthorized access.
