The West Bengal Joint Admission Examination Board (WBJEEB) released WBJEE 2022 application form. The form has been uploaded to The last date to apply for the state exam is January 10, 2022. WBJEE 2022 will take place on April 23, 2022.

The WBJEE app correction window will be open from January 11, and the admission card will be released on April 18, 2022.

How to apply for WBJEE 2022?

Step 1 – Go to the official WBJEE 2022 website at Select the “New Registration” link on the site.

2nd step – Enter details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, ID and contact number.

Step 3 – Create a password and define a security question.

Step 4 – Using the application number and password, log in and fill out the rest of the details in the WBJEE 2022 application form.

Step 5 – Upload images to the form.

Step 6 – Pay the administration fees.

Step 7 – Complete the final submission and download the confirmation page of the application form.

In the WBJEE application form, applicants must upload a scanned image of the photograph and signature. Both must be in JPG or JPEG format. The candidates’ photo must be in color and must be between 10kb and 200kb. The size of the image for the signature can be between 4KB and 30KB.

The application fee for WBJEE 2022 is Rs 500 for the general caste and Rs 400 for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B applicants. The amount can be paid online, via net banking, debit card or credit card. Only applicants who submit the form and format prescribed by the fees will be issued WBJEE 2022 Admission Card.

WBJEE takes place in offline mode at designated exam centers, for 2 hours. It has two articles, the first being mathematics and the second physics and chemistry. WBJEE consists of MCQs meaning multiple choice questions and there are 80 questions in total in the second article, 40 in physics and chemistry each while 75 questions in total in the first article which is the math section.

Mathematics has 50 questions in the first category, 15 in the second category and 10 in the third category. The second article has 30 questions in the first category and 5 questions in categories 2 and 3. WBJEE has a total of 200 points. In Category 1, each correct answer will receive one point, while in Category 2, each correct answer will receive two points. Incorrect answers will result in a 1/4 point deduction in Category 1, a 1/2 point deduction in Category 2 and no negative score in Category 3.
