Application for the Women In Business Awards closes today

Nominations for the Women in Business Awards close today at midnight.

WIB Board of Directors Alison Southey encourages women to send in their applications before closing.

“We are all for the empowerment of women,” Ms Southey said.

“This is the last call.”

Ms Southey said they would expect more applications at the last hour today.

The prizes will be divided into six categories.

The WIB Awards honor outstanding women in Fiji and recognize its members who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their business or profession and in their service to the community.

The WIB Board seeks women whose achievements and work in the financial services sector in Fiji have helped improve the industry or encouraged other women to pursue careers in financial services.

Nominations can be made directly by an individual or company and are open to women in financial services, banking, investing, lending institutions, brokers, accounting, financial planning, financial advisors, lending mortgages, consulting and advisory roles, business partners, colleagues, industry. participant, company, subcontractor, university, association or any eligible financial entity linked to a Women in Finance Prize.

The six categories are:

  • Businesswoman of the Year
  • Female Executive of the Year
  • Manager of the year
  • Aspiring Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Woman of the Year – ICT
  • Woman of the Year – Financial Services Each category must be completed in addition to the satisfactory terms and conditions in the information pack on the entry form.

The WIB “Emeralds and Diamonds” awards night will take place on Friday, October 21 in Suva.
